Plexiglas hat den Vorteil, dass es ca. 50% leichter als Glas und f\u00fcr Hobby-Handwerker einfacher zu verarbeiten ist. Allerdings gilt bei der Schalld\u00e4mmung das Masse-Gesetz: &#8222;je schwerer, desto besser&#8220;. In professionellen Telefonboxen kommt daher immer echtes Glas zum Einsatz (normalerweise 6-8 mm ESG\/VSG, also Einscheiben-Sicherheitsglas oder mehrschichtiges Verbundsicherheitsglas) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Einsatz besonders g\u00fcnstiger Materialien:<\/strong> Die Entscheidung f\u00fcr eine Telefonbox im Eigenbau wir fast immer aus Kostengr\u00fcnden getroffen. Damit einher geht in der Regel auch die Auswahl besonders g\u00fcnstiger Materialien. Wer sich im Baumarkt schon mal die Preise f\u00fcr Holzplatten unterschiedlicher Dicken angesehen hat, versteht sicherlich den Punkt: Auch bei Holzw\u00e4nden gilt das Masse-Gesetz (siehe oben bei Plexiglas). Vermeintlich g\u00fcnstige Telefonboxen im Eigenbau gehen damit meistens mit einem Verzicht an Material und damit D\u00e4mmungsfunktion einher. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bel\u00fcftung nicht ausreichend:<\/strong> Bei Telefonboxen kommen zwei Zielsetzungen miteinander in Konflikt: Einerseits soll die Box sehr schalldicht sein, gleichzeitig aber nicht luftdicht &#8211; schlie\u00dflich m\u00f6chte man nicht das Gef\u00fchl haben, in der Box zu ersticken. In der Konstruktion ist also eine ausreichende Bel\u00fcftung einzuplanen, die m\u00f6glichst wenig den Schallschutz torpediert. Hieran scheitern die meisten Do-it-yourself-Projekte.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sichtschutz ist nicht gleich Schallschutz:<\/strong> Nichts nervt im ruhigen B\u00fcro mehr, als ein Kollege, der sich in einer (schlecht schallged\u00e4mmten) Telefonbox auf Grund der vier W\u00e4nde um ihn herum &#8222;unbeobachtet&#8220; f\u00fchlt und laut lostelefoniert. Unzureichend schallisolierte Telefonboxen k\u00f6nnen damit unter Umst\u00e4nden und paradoxerweise zu einem mehr an L\u00e4rmbelastung f\u00fchren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-90def241 alignwide uagb-is-root-container\">\n<div style=\"height:100px\"
