MUTE Modular - the flexible room-in-room system

"MUTE Modular" is a customisable room-in-room system with almost infinite combination possibilities. Elegant, cosy, flexible to use and always adaptable to new requirements.

Be inspired by the unmistakable design and the clever modular structure! In the "Book of rooms", "MUTE Modular" is presented on 90 pages with many realisation examples.

MUTE Modular is available in seven colour schemes

The modular design principle of MUTE Modular unfolds its aesthetic effect through seven coordinated colour worlds - fabrics, melamine decors and the powder-coated aluminium construction therefore always complement each other harmoniously in terms of colour.

    MUTE Modular - Design examples

The "MUTE Modular" room-in-room system is designed as a grid system with 1 metre grid spacing (or half a grid with 0.5 metres). The load-bearing corner elements consist of powder-coated aluminium profiles into which various types of wall elements can be clicked without tools using the patented click-in system. This creates rooms of different sizes and functions that can be combined and reorganised again and again.

    MUTE Modular - Price calculator

MUTE Modular - an initial cost estimate

The MUTE Modular room-in-room system is extremely variable - accordingly, the prices for each module are as individual and as different as the chosen configuration. Nevertheless, to give you an initial indication or guideline, we have developed a simplified price calculator that takes into account different room sizes and two different equipment variants for the wall structure.

More about wall element variants and prices:
The one metre wide wall modules are available in different versions. Glass doors and louvre wall modules are among the most expensive variants, while the solid wall modules with melamine & felt are the cheapest. If, for example, the rear of a room is designed in 6 mm glass modules (without a door), the price is slightly lower than for a closed rear wall.
Sorted by price in descending order, this results in the following sequence (in brackets the surcharge to the reference wall element in felt-melamine design):
    • Louvre wall module (+ 110%)
    • Glass door (+ 103%)
    • Full-wall module in fabric version on both sides or fabric in combination with external wall panelling made of powder-coated sheet metal (+ 45%)
    • Perforated wall module (+ 45%)
    • Glass module with decorative glass (+ 29%)
    • Glass module in VSG 8 mm laminated glass design (+ 1%)
    • Full-wall module in the felt/melamine variant (+ 0%)
    • Glass module in toughened safety glass 6 mm version (- 19%)
    Half-width elements?
The standard dimensions of the modular elements from MUTE Modular are 1 metre wide, but most elements (except doors) are also available in half the width. This means that rooms measuring 2.5 x 2.5 metres, for example, can also be created. In terms of price, however, half-width elements are almost on a par with the 1 metre modules. If there is sufficient space, we therefore recommend giving preference to 1 metre modules when planning.
