Sedus is one of the most renowned and successful office furniture manufacturers in Germany. With se:cube, Sedus has launched an innovative series of telephone and meeting boxes onto the market that has delighted many customers. The additional designation "max" stands for conference room-sized cubes that are placed on the existing building floor (no separate floor). The design of the Sedus cubes is characterised by a simple, straightforward shape, which is broken up by gently rounded corners. This allows the se:cube models to fit seamlessly into a wide variety of office environments. A special feature of the range is the optional all-round LED strip. This serves as a visual occupancy signal and lights up as soon as the box is in use.
Other special features of the se:cube series include
- TÜV-certified safety ("GS") for Cube S, Cube M and Cube L.
- Intelligent lighting and ventilation control with triple sensor technology: motion sensor, temperature sensor and optional CO² sensor
- Optional with control element for manual control of ventilation, brightness and LED colour temperature
The appearance and colour design of the Sedus Cubes can be individually adapted:
- Exterior paint finish in 10 different colours (standard: white, other colours available at extra cost)
- Exterior walls can be finished with a whiteboard coating - especially in open-plan office environments, a Cube can also be used sensibly from the outside.
- Door optionally hinged on the left or right
- PET felt panels on the ceiling for pleasant room acoustics
- Optionally 1, 2 or 3 side panels glazed (door side always glazed), version in 12.76 mm LSG-SI,
- Dimmable lighting optionally available in two versions:
- "Meeting": with two centrally positioned LED panels for ideal illumination of a meeting table, optionally also available in HCL version (HCL = Human Centric Lightning, enables a colour temperature change that is modelled on sunlight during the course of the day)
- "Workshop": depending on the room size, four or six dimmable LED lights evenly distributed across the room - enables more even illumination (ideal for flexible room utilisation with mobile furniture)
- Optional: Panels on interior and exterior walls in whiteboard design
- Door opening inwards, wheelchair accessible (without threshold)
- Door with lock case with dummy cylinder - enables retrofitting of customised locking systems
Three different sizes are available (the weights are approximate values - the exact weight depends on the number of individually configured glass walls):
- Cube max S: 3×3 metre base area - weight approx. 950 kg
- Cube max M: 3×4 or 4×3 metre base area - Weight approx. 1,150 kg
- Cube max L: 4×4 metre base area - weight approx. 1,300 kg
- 29 dB(A) Sound level reduction according to DIN EN ISO 11957 (2010)
- Fully automatic ventilation, optionally with additional air filter
