Telephone, meeting and work boxes are available in different dimensions. We have compiled the following overview as a rough guide.

Typical floor areas for acoustic cubes, meeting boxes & co
- Telephone boxes for one person require approx. 1.00m x 1.00m floor space
- Work boxes require a width of approx. 1.50m and a depth of 1.00m to 1.20m.
- the smallest meeting boxes start at approx. 1.65m wide with a depth of at least 1.20m (comfortable for two people, but quite narrow for four people). More comfortable meeting boxes for four people tend to require a width of 2.00 metres and a little more depth (up to approx. 1.50 metres).
- Large meeting boxes for six or eight people are significantly deeper (> 2.00 metres deep) and sometimes wider.
In addition to the required floor space, which must be available when installing an acoustic cube in a building, the height also plays an important role:
Typical height for acoustic cubes, meeting boxes & co
- Normal acoustic cubes: 2.14m to 2.32m (height required to achieve a standing height of 2.00m in the interior)
- Acoustic cubes with extra low ceiling: between 2.00 m and 2.10 m (correspondingly lower in the interior)
It should be borne in mind that there must still be some free space above the acoustic speaker for installation and air circulation - to determine the required room height, you should therefore add at least 25 cm to the height of the speaker!
